We will explore this story as an example of the devastating impact of McCarthyism on LGBTQ+ people and their families and examine the political fear-mongering of the day in relation to our modern context.

Our panel will include local leaders in politics, health, history, and more and will be moderated by Senator Cale Case of Lander. Together, we will explore how Hunt's life and death were impacted by anti-LGBTQ+ policy and how these events resonate today.

We will honor Senator Hunt's contributions while underscoring the need to uphold the values of courage and integrity in today’s political landscape.
